ROOFING
SYSTEMS
The biggest pro of a polycarbonate conservatory roof is its price being cheaper than its counterparts. They are more affordable to buy outright but aren’t as loyal to maintaining as a Glass Roof or Guardian Warm Roof, so this may be a better choice if you are working on a strict budget.
Polycarbonate roofs aren’t quite as aesthetically pleasing as Glass or The Guardian Warm Roof System, but this is also something you would have to sacrifice for low cost and functionality. Why not give us a call for more advice?
Here are the designs we offer:
GLASS ROOF
Before you make the final decision on a Glass Roof, we here at Duralite would kindly like to let you know that we believe the Guardian Warm Roof system is the best option to go within any conservatory roof situation.
If you’ve decided that glass for your Conservatory Roof is the way to go, your next decision is which type of glass to choose.
Choose from two state-of-the-art conservatory glazed roof unit options, that use the latest in glass technology to bring a range of benefits to your conservatory.
This is a reasonably budget-friendly Conservatory Roof option; however, it doesn’t have any sort of insulation allowing heat to enter and leave depending on the season.
This would ultimately mean you would be unable to enjoy the full potential of comfort from your conservatory.
Our Glass Roofs are fitted with energy-efficient or self-cleaning glass units which are both A-Rated and toughened glass units.
GUARDIAN Warm Roof
A Guardian Warm Roof System is always the best option due to their reliability, ease of maintenance, having great longevity while also coming with a 10 Year Guarantee! It is an Energy and Cost-efficient choice, an ideal choice for any pitched roof and you could also modernise your Warm Roof by adding some Velux Windows for an extra view.
Once you’ve decided a Warm Roof is the best choice for you, your next option would be to decide between a Warm Roof or a Hybrid Warm Roof.
A ‘Warm Roof’ is an insulated, tiled roof system that’s made with lightweight tiles of your choosing rather than slate. The Warm Roof is designed to resemble and feel like a ‘real roof’ and allows your conservatory to look more like an extension of your home with the internal sight of the ceiling being plastered and painted white. Whereas a ‘Hybrid Roof’ would combine both the elements from Cold and Warm Roof constructions, as well as being designed using part insulated Warm Roof, and part Glass panel.
